Did you ever wonder if Paleolithic ancestors tamed the Canais Lupus, or was it a more cooperative understanding between the two? What if we did not tame them, but they tamed us? If you are curious, you should continue reading!
I love my dogs. I want to know all about them and their history. I recently watched an incredible Ted Talk video titled A Brief History of Dogs. This video explains all I wanted to know about my dogs and more. Let me tell you everything I learned from this video!
Canais Lupus, or wolves, were standing at the pinnacle of the food chain. They were a threat to humans, and if we were honest, we were a threat to them too.
But there is more! Despite the fact that they were natural enemies, humans were eventually able to co-exist alongside these formidable rivals.
I would have been dinner. If you ever seen a pack of wolves hunt, it is beautiful, haunting, and scary all at the same time.
Even though the video was less than five minutes, it had a clear message. Everyone who has a dog should watch it because it gives a fantastic overview of the history of wolves, dogs, and man. It made me really appreciate my dog.
We are the dog’s humans. We belong to them, not the other way around. I love that hidden deep inside my little fur baby lurks something profound and mystical, and this makes me hungry to learn more.
